Linked in this message is our weekly family devotional we want to provide you (We will also have these printed at the welcome desk each Sunday next to the bulletins). We recommend that the leader of the home prints the devotional, takes time to study it, and presents it to their family. Each family unit is encouraged to find the best day and time of their week together that fits the family schedule. Ensure that this time is set aside every week without distraction. We consider each home a family unit, no matter the age or stage of life.
Our scriptural vision as to why we are doing this comes from Deuteronomy 6:6-9 which says “These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.”
May we all make it a daily and weekly habit to read our Bibles individually and with our loved ones.
