Michael Whitworth — Pulpit

A graduate of Freed-Hardeman University (Class of 2006), Michael is a third-generation preacher. He has worked with congregations in Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, and Texas; he came to work at Jersey Village in September 2010. He authors the online blog “Start 2 Finish” where he reflects on real life as a Christian. He is the author of two books, and the co-author of a third. His biggest claim to fame is his wife, Sara. Together with their golden retriever, they make their home in Houston. In his spare time, Michael enjoys sports, photography, hiking, movies, and music. Reach Michael at michael@jvcoc.org
Daryl Parsons — Associate

Daryl is a graduate of the Bear Valley Bible Institute of Denver. He also has an Associate’s Degree from the School of World Evangelism. Daryl has worked with congregations in Texas and Colorado; he came to work at Jersey Village in October 2011. Together with his wife Amy, they have two beautiful children. Daryl has a strong passion for God’s Word and His church. He serves the Jersey Village church in the area of involvement. Daryl’s favorite Scripture is 1 Corinthians 15:58; in his spare time, he enjoys sports, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. Reach Daryl at daryl@jvcoc.org
Mike Johns — Youth

Mike is a graduate of Oklahoma Christian University (Class of 2007), majoring in Organizational Communication and Vocational Ministry. A year later, he earned an MBA with a focus in Leadership and Organizational Development. Mike, and his wife Brittany, began their work at Jersey Village in April 2011 following a two-year internship at the Memorial church in Houston. They both participated in youth ministry internships during college. They both have a passion for working with teens and helping them develop and maintain a relationship with Jesus Christ.
