Miawoezo! – Welcome!

Keith Johnson – Africa Coordinator.

We are thankful to all who contributed to make Vacation Bible School possible this year. At VBS, we learned about the covenant between God and man, how to make fans out of palm reeds, and did a lot of coloring! The children had a lot of fun getting to do something outside of the ordinary as life here in Ghana is very hard.

Thank you, Cloverdale, for helping make this happen!

~ Togetherness ~

This is the word that keeps coming to mind. I have been here for six weeks now and there is a strong sense of togetherness that has formed.

Togetherness with the people here through relationships we never would have had had we stayed home. Togetherness with each other, the teammates that have become family, that comes with the natural closeness of spending so much time with one another. Togetherness with God through getting to experience Him in a whole new way that is unique to these two months abroad. God is at work in Ghana and getting to see it firsthand has been a blessing and gift from Him. The people here are passionate servants for our Lord and I am constantly encouraged by the men, women, and children that walk the streets of Dzodze. All the glory and all the praise to Him!

The construction for the Operating Room is well underway. In the past the Dzodze Mission Clinic had to turn away patients because they were not able to operate. Thank you to the anonymous giver for this project. We have been preaching, teaching, counseling, ministering and painting every opportunity we can. Erin and Mary have had opportunities to teach ladies and youth classes at Grace Christian. We also celebrated Erin’s birthday late last month.

We invested in this field. All proceeds from this cornfield go toward salaries for preachers.
